The 39-year-old Oscar winner said on Instagram that her recent trip to the Cannes Lions Festival in France did not go as well as she had hoped.

Nyong'o told fans that "@KLM lost my luggage 🤬; @dolcegabbana came to the rescue! 🙏🏿 🧚🏽‍♂️✈️ #QuickTrip #WorkingWoman #blessed." She added a video montage of her brand-new clothes to her writing.

Jay-"Change Z's Clothes" plays in the background as Nyong'o shows off her new Dolce & Gabbana clothes in the video. With her pastel pink suit and floral A-line skirts, the Black Panther actor looks ready for summer.

Nyong'o was the face of Saks' digital-only Spring 2022 campaign in February. She talked about her own style journey.

The actress said this about her eye-catching red carpet outfits: "I approach my red carpet style with curiosity and humor.

She added that she enjoys dressing up because it takes her back to childhood and making outfits out of sheets, towels, and other materials. "It's an opportunity to pretend and to simply live at a higher level," she said.

Nyong'o also talked about the Camp-themed Versace dress she wore to the 2019 Met Gala, which was one of the most magnificent red carpet moments of her life.

She said that the brightly colored outfit made her feel like a butterfly. I felt very gaudy and beautiful, and my makeup was out of control.

Nyong'o talked about fashion and was honest about how the upcoming Black Panther movie will be different without the cherished Chadwick Boseman, who died in August 2020 after a long, secret battle with cancer.

"It will be strange to see another one of these movies come out without Chadwick Boseman, but we think a lot of him. I think this one will likely make people happy."

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will come out for the first time in November.
