"I'm going to try to get Eddie to pay for it," Martin, 57, joked when asked about the young couple on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
Even though he was still happy about his 26-year-old daughter's relationship, the Bad Boys actor laughed when Jimmy Kimmel said that the two could have a "comedy super-baby" in the future.
"We kind of just stay out of their business and let them do their own thing and respect their thing," Martin said, adding that he and Eddie, 61, "haven't talked" about the kids' relationship.
Jasmin, whose parents are the Martin actor and his ex-wife Patricia Southall, started dating the Haunted Mansion actor's son with his ex-Paulette McNeely, who is 32 years old, last year. Martin has two younger daughters with his ex-wife Shamicka Gibbs. Eddie, on the other hand, has nine other kids.
"Congratulations, my love! "I'm so lucky to know you, love you, and have you by my side," the actress from Bad Boys for Life wrote on Instagram on her man's birthday in July 2021. To many more blessings, laughter and beautiful memories! " I love you so much!! 🖤✨"
The relationship between the celebrity kids has been getting stronger, and Eric talked about how much happiness his partner has brought into his life.

"I am so lucky to feel your love no matter what," Eric wrote in the caption of a January birthday post on Instagram. My prayers are with you as you begin your 26th year on this earth. Thank you for being the best girlfriend of all time!”
Even though the two famous comedians have tried to stay out of their kids' relationships, they have always been close. Eddie and Martin were in the movies Boomerang (1993) and Life (1999) together. The former Saturday Night Live star even got an invite to Martin's wedding to Gibbs, 46, in 2010, before the couple split up two years later.
